This electrode, with its high titania potassium type coating, complies with AWS A5.1/E6013 standards.
Expect impressive mechanical properties, with a minimum yield strength of 306 MPa and a minimum tensile strength of 430-560 MPa. The electrode offers a minimum elongation of 22%, ensuring reliable and durable welds.
The chemical composition of the AWS 6013 electrode meets requirements, with a minimum of 2.00% carbon (C), 1.2% manganese (Mn), 1.00% silicon (Si), and maximum sulfur (S) and phosphorus (P) content of 0.035% and 0.040% respectively.
Available in various diameters and lengths, including 2.5mm x 300mm, 3.2mm x 350mm, 4.0mm x 400mm, and 5.0mm x 400mm, you can choose the perfect size for your welding needs.
When it comes to current requirements, for flat and horizontal positions (F, H), the recommended range is 60-90A for 2.5mm diameter, 80-130A for 3.2mm diameter, 150-190A for 4.0mm diameter, and 180-250A for 5.0mm diameter. For vertical and overhead positions (V, OH), the recommended range is 50-80A for 2.5mm diameter, 80-110A for 3.2mm diameter, and 130-170A for 4.0mm diameter.
